Mr. Abedin, I think the day a Bangladeshi man wakes up... is the day he gets married. Then I think he starts thinking about the real world.

You don't have to marry many Bangladeshi men to be able come up with this decision.
It actually implies for most of the men. A man really becomes "adult" when he steps into a family life as responsibilities entails on his shoulders.
Where, we girls are mostly taught to have our eyes open, as society has taught us to take responsibilities from an early age.
It doesn't take a marriage to know such a thing. Just a sensible head over ones shoulders.
